Pancho Morris is a musician, actor, and performance artist based in Oakland, CA. Best known for his intensely personal live performances, his first studio album GREAT AGAIN marries his charismatic stage persona with the epic musical stylings of Nashville producer James "SKYWAYMAN" Wallace.

Dillon Morris is a commercial creative director and technologist. He works across film, immersive mediums (360 & VR), photography, and sound to create engaging experiences with his studio Here For Fun LLC.

Adam J. Richman (a.k.a. "Ready") is a freelance filmmaker with a knack for painting with light, dancing with lens, and sculpting with story. A graduate of Chapman University’s film production program, and of the city of Los Angeles, he has settled in the S.F. Bay Area to continue his craft and push the boundaries of art and activism.

Chris Swimmer is an artist, producer, performer and all-around creator with an eye for the strange, silly, and provocative. He believes that with the right combination of vision, collaboration, and sheer scrappiness, even the most ridiculous ideas can be brought to life. He looks at disparate threads and braids them together. He knows that sometimes art is best made with hands and sometimes with spreadsheets.

I design stories and interactions for media from film to live events. I produce live immersive events and video projects. I perform for immersive theater and film productions.

I am a designer, performer and producer of immersive arts. Using surrealist storylines, interactive characters, and expansive environments, my creations will envelope you in another world. Growing up I was enamored with theater, especially jubilant musicals with lengthy choreographed dance numbers, but it wasn’t until 2011 that I was exposed to the concept of theater as an immersive, and all encompassing, experience. As an interactive experience designer and performer I am interested in creating captivating encounters that elevate audience members from passive bystanders to engaged participants.

Alex Malek’s big takeaway from her theater nerd beginnings was that storytelling can create common ground between all kinds of people.

As one half of the Dandy Lions Media team, her chosen mediums are photography and film production. She appreciates the silly in the serious and vice versa, and aspires to convey their relationship in both her fiction and documentary work. Alex’s other joys include writing, singing, and late-night conversations.

Justin, as co-creator of Dandy Lions Media, wears the many hats of an independent artist: still and motion photographer, director, producer, editor, and performer.

He is always looking to create something strange/surreal/colorful/sexy/experimental/uncomfortable/creepy/dark and sometimes just fun. He primarily works within the realm of short-format creative video (i.e. music videos) or portraiture, but has also had a hand in live event production and is always open to new ways of co-creating with like-minded weirdos. He is also known to write songs and sing them while playing guitar.

Trevor works across media production, motion and still photography, cultural journalism, and social strategy. His press credentials include Acclaim!, Entertainment Weekly, FACT, The FADER, The Hollywood Reporter, Hypetrak, Impose, Noisey, Pitchfork, SPIN, Stereogum, The Source, Thump, Waypoint, and XLR8R.

Paul Savage is an intense, eclectic creator. His first foray into performance began over a decade ago when he discovered fire spinning. He has since evolved and incorporated his love for building to invoke a reflective satirical presence in his art.

Treigh Love loves making music videos. It’s where she began her art department journey. They are widely creative, a ton of work and always fun. For her, Strangetown was no different. Take an empty West Oakland warehouse, have a bunch of meetings, convince a local company to give us a bunch of props and set dressing for free, build all the sets, be weird and behold the glory!

Filmmaker, artist, and developer in San Francisco. Michael’s two short films Lily in the Grinder and Shabbat Dinner, and mini-feature documentary have screened in over 70 film festivals worldwide, winning several first place awards, one becoming an HBO Project Greenlight Finalist. In 2012 Michael started Nametag Day, a citywide event that distributed nametags to over 15,000 New Yorkers and is launching in San Francisco this year. He coordinated international operations for nonprofit FilmAid International, where he taught and screened film in Kenyan and Haitian refugee camps. Michael has written about film, tech, and politics for The Guardian and Huffington Post, and has had work covered in The New York Times, TIME Magazine, AM New York, and CBS. He was a visiting scholar at the FAMU Directing Program in Prague, Czech Republic and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.

Michelle Lessans is a social worker and absurdist performance artist. She has worked in many mediums including costuming, artifact creation and experience design. Her hope is to connect her desire to build resilience with her desire to create play though public art.

Avi Dunn is a circus artist specializing in corde lisse and practiced in straps, silks, trapeze, juggling, and acrobatics. He currently teaches classes at Athletic Playground, Kinetic Arts Center, and University Village Community Center. He is available for private lessons and performances.

Lichen is the jam in the peanut butter sandwich. He is currently collaborating with folks on a number of annual Bay Area immersive events. As a lover of costumes and all things cloth, running our small yet efficient Wardrobe department was an excellent fit Lichen on Strangetown.

As a creative producer, I am widely active in experiential productions and derive passion by designing unforgettable moments. You can often find me drumming up imaginative concepts and then demystifying ideas into digestible pieces until the vision is realized. With a rich history of designing branded events, conferences, festivals, and immersive theater, I'm eager to find ways to push interactive experiences to the next level.

Nicholas Kohut is an artist from Philadelphia. Some hip people call him Squid. He is currently creating in San Francisco. Nick works full-time with Suite Spot, a creative media & live production company, as a Creative Director / Producer and Operations Architect. He spends late nights and long weekends collaborating with Here 4 Fun, Dandylions Media, and We Are Confetti. In the most ludicrous hours between all this, Nick Squid makes art, movies, and music.

Meowtha Fehrman is an aerialist with a concept-driven, dynamic, fast-spinning performance style that has reportedly made more than one spectator feel dizzy by association. In Strangetown, USA, she appears on the aerial hoop--her apparatus of choice. In addition to performing as an aerialist, Meowtha is also a teacher of aerial hoop (lyra), flexibility, and circus conditioning. She also works as an improvisational actor who specializes in immersive experience design and execution.

Garett Brown (a.k.a. Garcheese) is a visual and performance artist originally from Massachusetts, professionally trained in sign painting at the Butera School of Art in Boston. With such a unique and expressive style, and sometimes rather outrageous subject matter in his artwork Garett could never really find the right outlets for his style of artistic expression in suburban Massachusetts. Shortly after graduating from the sign painting program at Butera School of Art he set out in search of adventure.

In 2011 Garett moved to Oakland Ca. in search of a new artistic community and a larger range of self expression and exploration through artwork. Since then, Garett has expanded his art practices into spray paint mural art, installation art, digital illustration, graphic design, clowning theatrical performance, and leading sign painting departments for event production companies.

In 2016 the live-painting clown character known as Garcheese was born allowing Garett a proper outlet for the surrealistic circus inside of his brain to come out into the world through paint and installation/performance art.
